Meet your guide: Kevin Gifford
I grew up on the Sacramento River near Woodson bridge and have been fishing the river all my life, that's over 50 years. I have been fishing for salmon from a jet boat for over 25 years. I love being on the river and helping otheres catch big fish. I know the river from Colusa to Redding very well so I will try to put you in the spots with the most fish at a time. I am licensed by DFG and USCG to guide on the Sacramento and Feather Rivers. I have a $1000.00 bond as mandated by the DFG to insure you get the service I advertise. As well as having first aid and CPR as required by the USCG, I am also an RN with over 25 years emergency services experience. Join me in a terrific adventure fishing for some of the tastiest and hardest fighting fish on the planted. I promise you will have a great time.
Services
You can meet your guide at the launch or I will pick you up at the hotel. Details will be discussed prior to fishing. Meeting times are usually one hour before sunup and we fish for 7 hours or until we get our limits. other arrangements can be made to make your fishing adventure the most relaxing and fun for your party. Top quality fishing tackle and bait are provided specifically for this fishery. I will fillet or clean your fish at the end of the day. We have a large fish box on board where the fish are bled and chilled by the continuous flow of fresh cold river water. you will be fishing out of a North river Scout with quiet Yamaha four stroke motors. I will do everything I can to get the mighty Chinook on the end of your line and then your work begins. It simply doesn't get better than this!
